Blue Daisies

Well, I celebrated a birthday day a few weeks back. Yes, I will admit it now.... It seems like from May 20th - June 24th it is non-stop birthday's in our house. 4 of our 9 are in that time span. We have 3 from Sept 7th - 20th. I had a friend who was gone on my birthday. Sunday she brought this wonderful vase of flowers for me. She was not even aware that Darcy's favorite flower was the blue daisy or that it was Seth's birthday that day. It made them even more special. I should of taken the picture on Sunday rather then letting them sit in the heat for 2 days before taking it. Thank you Rhonda!

Garrett Leaves for Camp

So we took Garrett to the bus to leave for camp for a week. This is the first year in all his years at camp that one of his brothers will not be up their working while he is a camper. He was going to try and smuggle Levi with him. It is hard to believe next year both of those boys will be on that bus. Please pray for him while he is there! New Pool

So my kids are already bored. Yes, I tell them never to tell me they are bored, they will be sorry! I have suggested starting school already for next year but by the time I turn around they are long gone. I had promised them I would buy a new liner for our pool at the beginning of the year. It was one of the things we had planned on getting with our tax refund. Since we have had so many struggles with the rental we have not spent money on anything until we are covered with new renters (one down, one to go). So last week I decided the kids need a liner, of course our pool is no longer made....and this one was only $50 more than the liner was last year. So thy got a new pool. Shelby and Levi start swimming lessons the end of next month. Until them Shelby has a suit with a flotation device built in. I took this picture from the deck. Kaleb has asked if he could dive off the deck. Can you guess my answer?!?!

Another week gone...

Pretty Miss Annika came to visit this week. The kids all fought about who got to hold her. She loved to snuggle with big Kaleb. I think she liked the height since her daddy is so tall too. Levi told me she could not go home until I took his picture with her. She was beyond tired so this was the best I could do. Isn't she pretty?

Another exciting thing that happened this week is that Kaleb passed his permit test. So I will never get to drive again! Since he would not let me take his picture I found one that I had taken at the Kings Kids award banquet with 2 of his best friends. Kaleb is not blurry, that is the way he looks! ;) Jacob K., Heath C. & Kaleb.

GROSSSSS!

So yesterday I opened a can of vegetables (spinach) and this is what I found in the can. I gagged, wondering what I had eaten that we did not find.... Needless to say, Levi now thinks all canned vegetables have bugs in them, like he needs a reason to hate them. He loves all raw veggies and canned peas and corn, but that is it! Anyone hungry? Steven said it is some sort of grasshopper,locust thingy.
