Levi's 1/19/08

Levi did pretty good this time. He won his first with a pin in the 2nd quarter. He lost his 2nd by points. It was hard to get good video or pictures of it as Garrett and Levi were wrestling at the the same time and it was only one match away from Seth's 2nd match. I was sick so I sat in the stands and my heart was racing!!! Levi also pinned his 3rd match in the first round. The video is of his first match of the season.

Seth's

Seth did pretty good for his first time out. He was pinned his first match, but handle it very very well. His second match he lost by points 7-21. His last match he won 12-4. So every match was an improvement! Now if we can get him to stop smiling the whole match....give us the mean look Seth! The video is of his last match.

Levi - 2nd place
Seth - 3rd Place

Rippentrop Christmas

This year for Christmas we went to Steve's brother's house. Gayette was too close to her due date and was not allowed to travel. We had a great time and as you can tell had oodles of presents. Garrett had plenty of room to ride his wave board all the time. Heath had to show Kaleb who was still the oldest and Kaleb did his best to show him his side of the story. Shelby did not leave Lois' side.

Our Family Christmas

Our messy house after all the presents were opened. Sethy checking out his new Diego pajamas. Garrett is wave-boarding in the kitchen.

Sethy opened his talking Diego doll. He was amazed that it knew his and Shelby's name. It says things like "Seth and Shelby love to eat Hamburgers and so do I" He loves it. It gives him directions and he has to follow them. Maybe I should talk in Diego's voice and he would follow my directions :).

Kaleb's Fingers

This morning Kaleb went out to stoke the fire. he is a good son trying to keep his mother nice and toasty warm. Well, the log hit something on the inside top of the stove and bounced back out. It hit his fingers and landed on the front of the stove. We had a doc and 2 nurses at church tonight tell him it was broke for sure. He had to come home tonight and drill a hole in the smaller one so it did not split the nail. We are suppose to splint them tomorrow after the swelling goes down. Keep him in your prayers, he is in a lot of pain

Sophia Joy

In the next few days I will make up greatly for the time span in postings. I will post wonderful pictures of both sides Christmas and our wonderful visit with Heath & Lois.

First I would like to introduce you to our newest niece. She was born to Steve's brother and his wife on the 31st. Her name is Sophia Joy. Princess Shelby is very excited to have another princess in the Rippentrop family. We cannot wait to go visit her (and her parents of course too!)
